Before getting into the exercise, I want to apologize the lapse of time in posting. My family and I recently moved across the country and it’s taken quite a bit of time to settle in and adjust. During the chaos, my artistic ventures were put on hold. I’m happy to say that am now set up in my new home with a new art area and the ventures can now resume. On to the topic at hand.
The seventh exercise wasn’t a favorite of mine, but I made the most of it and tried to have fun with it. The core of the exercise involves pasta, which is something I don’t keep a lot of in the house, so that was my first challenge. I did have a few options and I added rice to the mix for pattern and color variety.
I also brought in my ink and brush for more color. Like I said, I made the most of it and you can see my finished designs below. It wasn’t my favorite exercise, but as with all of these creative activities, it made the creative side of my brain start working.
The next exercise was a lot of fun. I’m still working on putting it all together, so check back for the next D30 post, which will be in a week or so, not months. I promise!
